Who's who?

What's in a name? The radial area is located along your wrist and this is one of the many sites for taking your pulse. Incidentally, radius is also the name of the bone which is along the side of your thumb. So, radial area. Radial pulse.

I could go on explaining the anatomy and physiology behind it but I didn't think you'd be interested. But why this name, you ask? Because I've always wanted a medically related username. I badly wanted to use tachycardia (rapid pulse rate of greater than 100bpm) but it was taken. Radialpulse is just fine. :)

And so in this journal, all sorts of entries about my life as a nursing student and whatnot shall be documented. Enjoy your stay!
